Scouts

The Scout Section is for all young people, usually aged between 10½ and 14 years. The Scout Troop is the third section in the Scout Group, after Beavers and Cubs.

Scouts take part in a varied programme of activities that help them to find out about the world in which they live, encourage them to know their own abilities and the importance of keeping fit, and help develop their creative talents. It also provides opportunities to explore their own values and personal attitudes.

Being outdoors is important, and we give the Scouts opportunities to take part in traditional Scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking, as well as a wider spectrum of adventurous activities, from climbing to wakeboarding.

Our group has two Scout Troops that meet on a Monday and a Wednesday.

Complete our Join us form and we will respond as soon as we can.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
