Cubs

The Cub Scout Section is for all young people aged between 8 and 10½ years old, who make up the second section of the Scouting family, between Beavers and Scouts.

Cub Scouts have fantastic opportunities to experience sailing, rafting, climbing, exploring, to camp and light fires. We have badges for hiking, map reading, astronomy, artist and many more to wear on your uniform with pride.

There is a weekend away every term, where rifle shooting, archery and orienteering are firm favourites. Our Group has two Cub Packs: the Arapaho Pack meets on Tuesdays and the Apache Pack on Thursdays.

Complete our Join us form and we will respond as soon as we can. If you have any questions, please contact us (cubs@aspleyguisescouts.org.uk).

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
