Explorer Summer Camp 2023

Date: 22nd Sep 2023 Author: Scout Websites

Thank you all for a fantastic week. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, encouragement, and overall sense of fun made this trip a brilliant adventure.

We did so much…

We hiked to amazing mountain views, cooked over open fires, made new friends, swam in Loch Tay, toasted ‘smores, jumped off Bruar river cliffs, putted golf balls, ate great fish and chips, experimented with sandwich fillings, cooked pancakes of destiny, slept under the stars in the foxes den, swam through waterfalls, ate lots of cake and biscuits, Tyrloeaned across the River Lyon, traversed the tricky bouldering wall, frisbeed for glory, hunted for orienteering spots, slept in hammocks, battled the midges, suffered bad jokes, got wet dried out and got wet again, axe chopped many logs, whittled sticks, searched desperately for Wi-Fi and phone signals, made memories and definitely had adventures.
