We collect used Ink Cartridges and Mobile Phones

...and turn them into money!

Help Aspley Guise Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers raise funds by collecting used inkjet printer cartridges and old mobile phones. Our recycling is organised and managed by some of our older Scouts and Explorer Scouts as a worthwhile and enterprising community project.

How does it work?
Simply place your used cartridges or phones into the box in the Scout Centre entrance.

What kind of cartridges can we use?
Any computer printer cartridge can be put into the box– it doesn’t matter what type of printer it is from, but generally, Hewlett-Packard printer cartridges have the highest value. Any laser printer cartridges can be handed in– ideally in their original box, but don’t worry if you don’t have this.

And phones?
If handing in old phones, we get more money for them if they have chargers or other accessories with them. Phones don’t need to be “active” or even working properly to have a value.
